Opening Times:
We are only open to the public during exhibitions. Exhibition dates will be advertised in advance; during those dates, we are open only on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM to 5 PM.
At all other times, the building functions as a private working studio and is not accessible to visitors.
General Guidelines
On exhibition opening nights, we kindly ask guests not to bring dogs or children due to high capacity.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Please do not touch the artwork or cross any barriers and protective spaces in front of the artwork.
Food and drink are not permitted in the exhibition spaces.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the building or on the grounds.
Please refrain from blocking or obstructing entrances, exits, or access to gallery spaces.
During busy exhibitions, visitors may be asked to remove and carry their backpacks.
Please do not run inside the gallery.
Visitors must keep footwear on at all times while inside the gallery.
Climbing on any part of the building, including internal or external walls and ledges, is not permitted.
Sketching and drawing are encouraged using graphite and coloured pencils, but charcoal, permanent markers, pastels, watercolours, and oil paints are not permitted.
Accessibility
Wheelchair Access: There is an accessible entrance via the gates on the left side of the building, leading directly to a lift providing access to both floors. Please ask the invigilator for assistance.
Front Steps and Doorways: The front entrance has steps, but both double doors will remain open during exhibitions to ease entry. Ramps are available at all necessary thresholds, including the conservatory area, which provides access to the lift.
Lighting: The gallery lighting is warm white, and the hallway lighting follows the same standard. Visitors with light sensitivity may wish to bring sunglasses or other aids to ensure comfort.
Information Materials: Exhibit information is provided via QR codes in visual format.
Stairway to Basement: Step-free access to the basement is available via the lift located near the alternate entrance. Please ask the invigilator for directions to the lift.
Toilet Accessibility: The accessible toilet is equipped with grab rails, emergency pull cords, shelves for stoma equipment, and lower hooks.
Seating: A limited number of chairs are available in the exhibition space for visitors who require seating.
Quiet Space: While we are not a quiet space, visitors who require a lower-stimulation environment may wish to visit earlier in the day when the gallery is typically less busy or on dedicated access days.
Assistance Animals: Registered assistance animals are welcome in the space.
Code of Conduct
TKE Studios is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all staff, artists, and visitors. We will not tolerate:
Abuse or violence towards any visitor, contractor, or staff member.
Harassment or discrimination based on age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, race, or religion.
Intoxicated or antisocial behaviour that risks the safety or comfort of others, the building, or artworks.
If any visitor engages in inappropriate behaviour, staff will ask them to stop, and they may be asked to leave. Our staff have the authority to escort individuals from the premises if necessary.
Disclaimer
Our staff are present throughout the gallery to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit. If staff believe that a visitor is causing offence, creating risk, or endangering others, they have the authority to intervene and, if necessary, remove the visitor from the premises.
We uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse, violence, harassment, or discrimination.
Photography
Photography for personal, non-commercial use is allowed unless stated otherwise.
The use of flash, tripods, professional photography equipment, or selfie sticks is not permitted.
Please respect the privacy and enjoyment of other visitors by not photographing or recording them without consent.
Visitors will be notified if filming or photography is taking place in the gallery.

Lost Property
Please do not leave personal belongings unattended.
Unattended property may be removed for safety reasons.
Lost items will be kept for one month before being donated to charity or disposed of.
TKE Studios is not liable for lost, unattended, or removed property.
