Valentina Attolini.

Valentina Attolini (b. 1998, Mexico City) is a visual artist whose practice centers on shaping inner landscapes through large-format works. Attolini studied Visual Arts at the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Printmaking (La Esmeralda) in Mexico City (2019–2022) and completed further studies at the National Superior School of Arts of Paris-Cergy (2022–2023). Her work has been showcased in solo exhibitions in Mexico City, including “Epicentro” at Space of Critique, Dialogue, and Exhibition (2023) and “La Obsesión del Polvo por Volverse Aliento” at T.A.C.O. Contemporary Art (2022). She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, such as “Suite N.1” at Fundación Maceta and “Fiat Lux” at Espacio Temoskali in 2024.

Attolini’s work investigates the physicality and presence of the body, exploring the dynamic interplay of love, violence, and eroticism within a field of sensations, memory, dreams, and poetry. Through her process, she embraces accident and materiality, inviting unpredictability to reveal a space where chaos and control coexist. Her creations act as both a visceral expression and an investigation into the chaotic and the structured, embodying the tension between personal imagery and universal themes.
